Flying, nesting, feeding – there's nothing quite like observing migrating birds from a kayak. Don't miss this unique birding adventure at Sweet Marsh!
Join our experienced guides on a peaceful paddle through Sweet Marsh. We’ll meet at the Marsh at 6:00 pm and spend two hours gently paddling while we observe sandhill crane families on their nests, pods of pelicans, warblers, shorebirds and thousands of ducks and geese. The gentle, self-powered pace of a kayak allows you to access habitat from a different angle and listen for unusual or hard-to-hear species–even if you’re not that skilled!
Our guides love the outdoors and can't wait to share their passion with you. Come paddle with us and discover your inner birder.
*Exact paddling locations are dependent on weather and river conditions.
Professional guiding, small group size, kayak, paddle, PFD, first aid kit, and safety gear. If you’d prefer to bring your own kayak or gear, you are welcome to do so.
