Celebrate Memorial Day on the Cedar River as we paddle from Waverly to Janesville*! Join CrawDaddy’s expert guides on this local scenic river stretch, where we will pass thickly wooded forest, rolling hills and abundant wildlife.
We will meet at Brookwood Park in Waverly, drop off gear and paddlers and drive personal vehicles to our end point at Janesville Park. We’ll shuttle drivers back to the start where our adventure begins! We plan to be on the water at approximately 10 am and off the water by 4pm with a sandbar stop for lunch. This float is great for families, friends, beginners and anyone who wants to spend the day on the water!
Feel free to bring your own drinks, lunch and snacks to enjoy on the water. Pit toilet facilities may be available at start and/or end points, but be prepared for wilderness bathroom practices on the river.
*Exact paddling locations are dependent on weather and river conditions.
Professional instruction and guiding, transportation between put-in/take-out locations, kayak, paddle, PFD, first aid kit, and safety gear. If you’d prefer to bring your own kayak or gear, you are welcome to do so.
