Adventure Gals: Forest Hike

Join Adventure Gals as we explore various wooded areas in Bremer County, such as Ingawanis Woodland, Cedar Bend Park, and Babcock Woods. We’ll meet together and spend about 2 hours hiking with plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the forest.

Exact location will be determined closer to the event, based on trail conditions.

Designed and led by women for women looking to get outside and meet new friends in a safe, supportive community.

Adventure Gals is a community of women who value adventure and connection with the natural world. We offer meet up opportunities designed by women, for women to build confidence, gain experience, get inspiration and find a community in the outdoors.

Activities:

Hiking

Skill Level:

Beginner. Wear sturdy and comfortable shoes suitable for walking on a variety of terrain. We plan to hike in most weather conditions–rain or shine, hot or cold, windy or still.

Not Included:

Snacks, water or other beverages, items of a personal nature.

Trip Date: June 3

Time: 6-9pm

Registration is limited to 12 women. A minimum of 6 registrants is required to offer the event. 

We have intentionally limited the number of participants on our trips in order to provide a safe and rich outdoor experience.
