Whitewater Kayak Pool Session

Prepare for the spring runoff by brushing up your whitewater skills in the pool! Our Whitewater Pool Session provides the space to work on your rolling technique, refine paddle strokes, demo CrawDaddy’s whitewater kayak fleet and enjoy the friendship of the whitewater community.

This session is for everyone–even if you have never whitewater paddled before! This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of wet exiting, paddle strokes and to see if this dynamic river sport is for you.

Access to public restrooms and shower facilities will be available.

What’s Included: 

Pool admission, small group size, instruction and facilitation by CrawDaddy staff and experienced whitewater peers, whitewater kayaks, PFDs, paddles and other safety gear. If you’d prefer to bring your own whitewater kayak and/or gear, you are welcome to do so. Please ensure that your kayak is very clean before bringing it to the session.

Skill Level: 

All skill levels welcome. Expect to be active in the pool for 2 hours.

The W, 100 Wartburg Blvd, Waverly, IA, enter through the main entrance near 12th St NW and Wilson Ave.

Time: 8am-10:30am
