Take a break from your week with our Unwind Wednesday Paddle Nights this summer on Alice Wyth Lake in Waterloo!
These evenings are great for friends, families, beginners and anyone who wants to have a midweek moment to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature. Let the peaceful rhythm of paddling and the golden hues of the setting sun carry you into the rest of your week refreshed and recharged.
Our fleet of kayaks and several stand up paddleboards will be available for you to explore the lake with ease.
Professional instruction and guiding, kayak or SUP, paddle, PFD, first aid kit, and safety gear. If you’d prefer to bring your own kayak or gear, you are welcome to do so.
Kayaking and Stand Up Paddleboarding
Beginner. Plan to be on the water for 2 hours. We will paddle in most weather conditions–rain or shine, hot or cold, windy or still.
Transportation to Alice Wyth Lake, snacks, and water or other beverages. Note that toilet facilities are available within George Wyth State Park, however there are none available at the Alice Wyth boat ramp.

Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Location: Meet at the Alice Wyth Lake boat ramp, near the end of Wyth Road in George Wyth State Park.
Cost: $25/person, all ages
Registration is limited to 10 people. A minimum of 6 registrants per date is required to offer the event.
We have intentionally limited the number of participants on our trips in order to provide a safe and rich outdoor experience.
