Join us for a paddle on the Upper Iowa River, known for enjoyable riffles, breathtaking limestone cliffs and clear, spring-fed water.
We will meet in the morning at CrawDaddy Outdoors in Waverly, and drive about 2 hours to our starting point. After dropping off gear and paddlers, we’ll quickly shuttle vehicles to our end point and return to the start where our adventure begins! We plan to be on the water at approximately 10 am and off the water by 4pm with a sandbar stop for lunch. This float is great for friends, family, and anyone looking for a beautiful adventure!
Feel free to bring your own drinks, lunch and snacks to enjoy on the water. Pit toilet facilities may be available at start and end points, but be prepared for wilderness bathroom practices on the river.
*Exact paddling locations are dependent on weather and river conditions.
Professional instruction and guiding, transportation from Waverly, IA to the event and back, kayak, paddle, PFD, first aid kit, safety gear. If you’d prefer to bring your own kayak or gear, you are welcome to do so.
