Backpacking for Beginners Clinic - Waverly

Whether you are curious about backpacking, planning your first trip, or already registered for a CrawDaddy backpacking adventure, our FREE Backpacking for Beginners Clinic will give you foundational knowledge to hit the trail with confidence! Experienced guide and CrawDaddy owner Renee, will provide an overview of the basics of backpacking—planning, packing, gear, food, physical training, foot care and more.

Renee grew up in the mountains of Colorado, camping and doing all things outdoors. She frequently leads backpacking trips to Colorado and Yellow River State Forest for Waverly-Shell Rock High-school and CrawDaddy Outdoors. Her unique ability to teach people from all backgrounds and ability levels makes this class for everyone! Renee will use discussion and hands-on learning for an inviting and immersive learning experience. No matter what your experience, you’re sure to gain valuable knowledge from this clinic.
