This class will introduce people to the sport of kayak fishing on local Iowa rivers and lakes. It will start with a demo of our fishing kayaks where you will have the opportunity to try out the models we carry and discover their features and stability. Next, two Iowa fisheries professionals will be here to discuss local fish species in our rivers, habitats, seasonal movements and techniques to catch them. We will then be loading up in the kayaks to get your fishing lines wet as we paddle, fish, and provide instruction down to the Boy Scout camp. After a morning of great fishing, fishing tips and paddle instruction we will provide lunch on a sandbar. Hope you can join us for this educational and exciting day of fishing!
