Apostle Islands Sea Kayaking Trip @ Lake Superior, Wisconsin

If you’ve previously joined us on a Lake Superior kayak adventure, this trip is for you.  This year we will be backcountry camping on an island to island excursion including Basswood, Stockton and Oak Islands.  If conditions permit, we will paddle to the Raspberry Island lighthouse.  Previous sea kayaking experience with CrawDaddy Outdoors is required.  All transportation, gear and meals are provided.

St. Croix River Trip @ St. Croix River

Help us celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act with this rustic paddling trip to one of the first designated scenic rivers.  This trip will provide a true kayak camping experience as we float down this beautiful river in western Wisconsin.   Previous paddling and camping experience is recommended.  All trip gear is provided along with all meals and transportation.

Rugged Toad Adventure Triathlon

Ready for an awesome adventure triathlon? Get your wart on with the Rugged Toad Adventure Tri.

Paddle, Trail Run and Mountain Bike. Paddle (4.6 miles) the Cedar River from Waverly, IA to the Ingawanis Adventure Base, trail run (3.4 miles) through the camp and then mountain bike (7 miles) through Ingawanis Woodland.

Course

Paddle (4.6 miles) the Cedar River from Waverly, IA to the Ingawanis Adventure Base, trail run (3.4 miles) through the camp and then mountain bike (7 miles) through Ingawanis Woodland.

Start

Race begins at Brookwood Park, Waverly at 9 am. Last shuttle departs from Ingawanis Woodland / Eagle Lodge at 8:20 am.

Spectators

Spectators will be allowed at the start of the race at Brookwood Park in Waverly and at the Ingawanis Woodland / Eagle Lodge run/bike transition area and finish line.

Weather

Event is held rain or shine. Event will be delayed due to severe weather / lightning.

Directions

Participants will check in at Eagle Lodge at Ingawanis Woodland. Your kayak, pfd and paddle, and any gear needed for the run can be dropped off at the start of the race at Brookwood Park in Waverly. Your bike will need to be left at the bike transition at Eagle Lodge. Your vehicle will need to be left in the parking area at Eagle Lodge. A shuttle will take you back to Brookwood Park before the race begins.

Depending on where you live, it may be a better logistic option to drop off your kayaking gear first and then proceed to the check in at Eagle Lodge. You will need to be at Eagle Lodge at the Ingawanis Woodland to check in and park. You will be shuttled back to Brookwood Park for the start of the race.

At conclusion of race, you will pick up bike gear and your vehicle at Eagle Lodge at Ingawanis Woodland. Directions will be provided on where to pick up your kayak.

There will not be a drop off location for any run gear at the transition from kayak to run. Your running gear will need to be taken with you in your kayak.

Please allow a minimum of 20 minutes to drive from Brookwood Park to Ingawanis Woodland (each way).

Overall Winner; Men’s 1,2,3; Women’s 1,2,3; Youth 1,2,3; and Relay 1,2,3; Top Kayak, Top Bike, Top Run
