2008 Flood

We would like to thank our friends, family, landlord, and staff for all of their hard work in getting us open again at our old store location after the flood.

45 volunteers put in 400 hours while our staff and landlord put in 800 hours of work. 

800 of these hours were in the first 9 days.

Monday, June 9 - Mid afternoon (How bad can it get?)

We put all of the inventory at least 2 ft off the ground, and what we couldn't, we floated in boats.  All the clothing, sleeping bags, books, and pfd's were taken out of the store.

Tuesday - 7 AM (Oh crap) 13" of water in the store

Wednesday - 11 AM 

Wednesday - afternoon and evening

I hope the city is picking this up?
