Concerts in Kohlmann Park River Float @ Waverly Light & Power Boat Ramp

Join us for a relaxing evening in beautiful Waverly, Iowa this summer. Meet at the Waverly Light and Power Boat Ramp at 5:45pm and paddle for approximately 20-30 minutes, then enjoy live music while floating on the river (concert starts at 6:30pm). The evening ends with a short 20-minute paddle back to the boat ramp.

Bring your own kayak for free, or if you need one for the evening, they’re available for just $10.

If you need a rental, you must call in advance to reserve your spot.

Apostle Islands Sea Kayaking Trip @ Lake Superior, Wisconsin

Our most popular trip. Explore the sandstone sea caves off the northern coast of Wisconsin on Lake Superior. Partake in a 3-mile crossing to Sand Island to visit a historic light house and enjoy a wild blueberry or two. We base camp at Little Sand Bay Campground near Bayfield, Wisconsin and spend three days sea kayaking on Lake Superior. Enjoy Dutch oven meals and the expertise of the your experienced CrawDaddy Crew. Prior kayaking experience is recommended. All transportation, gear and meals are provided. Please mention any dietary restrictions when registering for the trip.

$475 per person cost includes transportation, all meals, guided experience and any gear you need to borrow for the trip.

The least visited National Park in the lower 48 states is calling your name. Join Darrin Siefken as he leads you through this majestic wilderness area. Learn about the moose and wolf populations while you explore the island. The greenstone rocks and stunning views of Lake Superior provide a true wilderness experience. A ferry will transport you from Grand Portage, Minnesota to the island. From there, you will navigate around and through the island to the ferry pick up point. There is no electricity, no cell towers, and no vehicles – simply you, your feet, and nature. Trip cost includes transportation from/to Waverly, Iowa to Grand Portage, Minnesota, the ferry ride to the island (and back), all gear and meals along with the expertise of an 13-time visitor to the island.

This trip is not for beginners.

$650 (backpacking) | $700 (kayaking)

Floatzilla is the Quad Cities annual paddle sports festival that culminates with a Guinness World Record attempt at the largest flotilla of kayaks and canoes on the protected backwaters of Lake Potter at Sunset Marina in Rock Island, Illinois.

CrawDaddy Outdoors will be at Lake Potter with a booth selling kayaks and gear.

  • Rentals will be available for $40 per single kayak
  • There will be no tandems or canoe rentals
  • You must call ahead to reserve and pay for rental: 319-352-9129
  • 6:15 am pickup at Ben Butterworth launch or 7:00 am pickup at Lake Potter
  • All boats need to be returned to Lake Potter at end of event.

Kickapoo River Fall Colors Trip @ Houghton | Michigan | United States

Join is for a weekend paddle and camping trip down the Kickapoo River. Camp at the LaFarge City Campground while enjoying the peak of fall colors. Previous canoeing or kayaking experience is recommended but not required. This is a beginner level trip suitable for all fitness levels.  All trip gear is provided along with all meals and transportation.

$175 per person trip cost includes transportation, all meals, guided experience and any gear you need to borrow for trip.
