Floatzilla is the Quad Cities annual paddle sports festival that culminates with a Guinness World Record attempt at the largest flotilla of kayaks and canoes on the protected backwaters of Lake Potter at Sunset Marina in Rock Island, Illinois.
CrawDaddy Outdoors will be at Lake Potter with a booth selling kayaks and gear.
- Rentals will be available for $40 per single kayak
- There will be no tandems or canoe rentals

- 6:15 am pickup at Ben Butterworth launch or 7:00 am pickup at Lake Potter
- All boats need to be returned to Lake Potter at end of event.

Paddle, Trail Run and Mountain Bike. Paddle (4.6 miles) the Cedar River from Waverly, IA to the Ingawanis Adventure Base, trail run (3.4 miles) through the camp and then mountain bike (7 miles) through Ingawanis Woodland.

Race begins at Brookwood Park, Waverly at 9 am. Last shuttle departs from Ingawanis Woodland / Eagle Lodge at 8:20 am.
Spectators will be allowed at the start of the race at Brookwood Park in Waverly and at the Ingawanis Woodland / Eagle Lodge run/bike transition area and finish line.
Event is held rain or shine. Event will be delayed due to severe weather / lightning.
Participants will check in at Eagle Lodge at Ingawanis Woodland. Your kayak, pfd and paddle, and any gear needed for the run can be dropped off at the start of the race at Brookwood Park in Waverly. Your bike will need to be left at the bike transition at Eagle Lodge. Your vehicle will need to be left in the parking area at Eagle Lodge. A shuttle will take you back to Brookwood Park before the race begins.
Depending on where you live, it may be a better logistic option to drop off your kayaking gear first and then proceed to the check in at Eagle Lodge. You will need to be at Eagle Lodge at the Ingawanis Woodland to check in and park. You will be shuttled back to Brookwood Park for the start of the race.
At conclusion of race, you will pick up bike gear and your vehicle at Eagle Lodge at Ingawanis Woodland. Directions will be provided on where to pick up your kayak.
There will not be a drop off location for any run gear at the transition from kayak to run. Your running gear will need to be taken with you in your kayak.
Please allow a minimum of 20 minutes to drive from Brookwood Park to Ingawanis Woodland (each way).

Join is for a weekend paddle and camping trip down the Kickapoo River. Camp at the LaFarge City Campground while enjoying the peak of fall colors. Previous canoeing or kayaking experience is recommended but not required. This is a beginner level trip suitable for all fitness levels. All trip gear is provided along with all meals and transportation.
$175 per person trip cost includes transportation, all meals, guided experience and any gear you need to borrow for trip.
